This guide is designed to help you navigate and efficiently utilize Lane, a comprehensive Dealership Management System (DMS) tailored for modern automotive dealerships.
Lane offers the following key features:
There are 4 categories of Lane users, each user has their own permissions and feature availability based on their user type. Following is a breakdown of what feature are available to which users:
- Dealer Admin: Dashboards, Deals, User Management, and Configurations.
- Sales Manager: Dashboards, Deals, Deal Desk, User Management, and Configurations
- Dealer Agent: Deals and User Management.
- Sales Support: Inside Deals, Schedule Pickup/Delivery, Appointment, Completed, and Canceled/Declined/Withdrawn.
Operation Dashboards
The Dashboards module is your central hub for monitoring and analyzing dealership performance. It provides a consolidated view of critical business metrics, enabling data-driven decision-making.
The intuitive interface includes dashboards for managing and following up on Leads, diving into Business Analytics, retrieving key information for Product Analytics, assessing Dealership Performance, and learning about the Customer Journey Analytics.

Deal Management
The Deals module is designed to streamline the creation and management of dealership transactions. This feature offers a user-friendly interface to handle all aspects of deal processing, from initiation to completion. With Lane, you can efficiently manage every stage of the deal lifecycle, ensuring accuracy and customer satisfaction.
Key functionalities include Deal Desk for creating and managing deals, Availability Check to ensure that the requested asset is available, Schedule Pickup/Delivery to specify a time and date asset delivery or pickup, Appointment to create an in-person meeting with the customer, Completed Deals as a record of finalized asset purchases, and Cancelled, Declined, or Withdrawn as a record for deals that did not go through.

User Management
The User Management module provides a comprehensive system to manage all dealership users, including employees, partners, and administrators. This module allows you to create and update user profiles, define user roles and permissions, and maintain a centralized repository of user information for efficient access and updates.
