Finalizing Purchase

After the Order Journey is completed, the order is moved to My Deals and marked as "Pending Confirmation".

Once the dealership marks the order as "Available", the process to finalize the purchase begins.

To finalize purchase of an order:

  1. Press the three-dot profile icon
  2. Select My Deals
  3. Against your desired "Available" deal, press Continue Deal

A purchase in Drift is finalized in 4 steps:

All steps must be carried out in the exact order as mentioned below. In Finalize Purchase (post order journey), Drift doesn't allow user to move to the next step until the current current step is fully completed.

Insurance

In this step, a user can select one of the following option:

  • I already have Insurance
  • I don't have Insurance
  • I want Insurance

In the case of I already have Insurance user needs to provide:

  • Insurance Provider Name
  • Agent Name
  • Policy Name
  • Expiration Date
  • Proof of Insurance
  • Provider Address

In the case of I don't have insurance, users can simply select this option and move the next step.

In the case of I want Insurance, users can request a new insurance policy with their purchase.

⚠️

The "I want Insurance" option might not be available depending on the chosen asset and dealership.

Contracting

In this step, users need to sign all provided documents. Documents are signed online and there is no need to print any documents.

💡

All documents presented are created and configured by the dealership and the lender whose asset is being ordered.

To sign a document, press the three-dot icon against a document and select View and Sign.

This will open the document for you to sign.

Once all presented documents are signed, move to the next step.

Payment

In this step, users need to pay the Due at Signing and First Month Payment amounts.

A breakdown of the payment is also available on this page for the user to view.

To pay the amount:

  1. Press Continue Payment
  2. Authorize Drift to charge your Credit or Debit card by pressing I Confirm & Proceed

Users have two options to pay:

  1. Credit or Debit card
  2. ACH Bank Transfer
💡

You don't have to charge a single card for the entire payment. You can breakdown the payment among multiple cards and make partial payments until you pay the full amount.

Once a partial payment is made, the Payment section will update the remaining — to be paid amount — accordingly.

Credit or Debit card

The first card you pay with is saved as your primary card. You can add multiple cards or make a different card primary later on.

Once Credit or Debit Card option is selected:

  • Provide the card details
  • Enter the amount you want to pay with this card
  • Press Pay Now

After the payment is processed, Drift will return you to the Payment page. You can continue paying the remaining amount (if any) by pressing Continue Payment.

ACH Bank Transfer

Once ACH Bank Transfer option is selected:

  • Provide the details of your account
  • Enter the amount you want to pay with this card
  • Press Pay Now

Schedule

In this step, users need to specify the delivery method of the asset. Users have two options:

Pickup

To pick up your asset from the dealership store:

  • Select "I will pickup from the dealership store"
  • Choose a date and time slot for the pickup
  • Press Continue

Delivered

To have the asset delivered:

  • Select "I would like to get it delivered"
  • Choose a date and time slot for the delivery
  • Press Continue
  • Provide details of the delivery Address
  • Press Confirm Schedule

Drift pre-populate the delivery address with the mailing address you provided during the Financing section of the Order Journey.
