  • New Functionality: Step Payments Functionality new option is added to the rental amount actual API for the step payments scenarios. Step payments are scenarios where customer request to increase or decrease the periodic payment amount at a specific percentage; over the life of a contract or for a certain payment slab. For example a customer requests that for a 24 months contract, his periodic payment amount should increase by 50% after every 6 month. Or customer wants to reduce the periodic payment by 60% from 6th term to 12th term. Step payment parameters are added as optional parameters in flex APIs and will not impact the normal calculation logic or existing integrations. The following changes have been documented in the API:

  • New Functionality: Deferred VAT – Month Number or Payment Number In the existing API user can only provide the payment number for the VAT deferral. A new enhancement is released to provide users the option to select between the deferred VAT as the month number or the payment number. The month number will be regarding the start date/calculation date. For payment frequency as monthly, both Month No. and Payment Number options will be available for VAT deferral. For payment frequencies other than monthly, the user can only provide the payment number for the VAT deferral amount. The following changes have been documented in the API:
